Clothing  Center
Our free Clothing Center serves over 9,000 low-income individuals and families each year. We provide seasonally appropriate clothing for school, work, home, as well as job interviews. Many of our families are living pay-check to pay-check and the Free Clothing Center allows them to stretch their budgets just a little further. All of the clothing is provided through generous donations from the community and our volunteers help us to sort and hang all of the items for our shoppers. 99% of the work is accomplished through volunteer efforts. Weekly volunteer training sessions for the Clothing Center are held Mondays 8:15am - 11:30am and Wednesdays 1:00pm - 3:00pm. Koats for Kids 2007
Thursday, October 18 - Sunday, October 2, 2007
Help CAC hang and distribute 10,000+ donated winter coats to families and individuals in our community.
Timeline:
CAC needs volunteers so sort and hang donated coats.
Sept. 11th- Oct. 17th, Tues. and Thurs. evenings from 5:30pm-8pm and Saturday mornings from 9am-noon
CAC needs volunteers to greet and assist shoppers, restock racks, and help with check out at the the public distribution.
October 18th-21st, Thursday-Sunday (daytime and evening shifts available)
Location: Yarmouth Crossing, 2935 S. Fish Hatchery Road in Fitchburg
(at the intersection of Fish Hatchery Rd. and Hwy PD).

Jewelry Project
We are looking for a volunteer who enjoys creative projects to help display jewelry in the Clothing Center.
